Living in Bellbrook, Ohio
Bellbrook's downtown is a four-corners at Main and Franklin. The Bellbrook Historical Museum on North Main Street is in a log cabin built about 1825, and the Blue Berry Cafe is on West Franklin Street. The Little Miami River, a National and State Scenic River, runs along the city's east and south edges, in the southwest corner of Greene County.

Sugarcreek MetroPark
A Five Rivers MetroPark with wooded hiking trail and bridle trail. The Orange Trail leads to the Osage Orange Tunnel, a living arch of intertwined osage orange trunks, and to the Three Sisters, white oaks that date to around 1440. The Green Trail is a loop; there is also a paved prairie loop, Sycamore Ridge (a glacial esker), Beech Woods, a nature area, a reservable Trailside shelter, vault restrooms and drinking water. MetroParks bought the land in October 1966 to serve the suburbs growing south of Dayton.
Bellbrook Sugarcreek Park District
The city and township's joint system of developed parks and conserved land. Sackett-Wright Park, just east of the city on SR 725, is the athletic complex, with soccer, baseball and football fields, two shelters and a concession stand. Sweet Arrow Reserve is woodland, prairie and meadow. Morris Reserve has trail, woods and prairie along the Little Miami. Washington Mill Park has soccer and lacrosse fields, and Bieser Reserve on SR 725 near Penewit Road adds more green space.
The in-city parks
Bellbrook Park, with meadow and wooded hillside beside the district's headquarters and community center on Washington Mill Road, and trail access to the Little Miami. Magee Park sits along Little Sugar Creek, and Petrikis Park is on West Franklin Street. A heritage site stands next to the museum on North Main. Ron Kehl Park and Keiter Reserve are just over the line in the township.
The Little Miami River
Mill Bridge Launch on Graf Mill Road is Greene County's canoe and kayak launch on the river, with primitive camping. Bellbrook Canoe Rental is the local outfitter. You can also reach the bank at Bellbrook Park and Morris Reserve.
Downtown at Main and Franklin
A compact four-corners downtown where SR 725 crosses Main Street. The Bellbrook Historical Museum on North Main is in a log cabin from about 1825, one of the oldest structures standing in town. The Blue Berry Cafe on West Franklin does breakfast and brunch; Bellhop Cafe and Dot's Market are downtown too, and Zemore's Wine Cellar & Bistro is out on SR 725. Sugar Maple Festival
Downtown, the last weekend of April. With food and craft vendors, a maple syrup boil demonstration, a pancake breakfast, a parade, an ORRRC 5K, a dog show and a beer and wine garden.
Lions Club SummerFest
Mid-August on the club's grounds on South East Street, with rides, food and a Saturday parade through downtown.

In Sugarcreek Township, new. Every active subdivision carries a Bellbrook address and none is inside the city: Landings at Sugarcreek on Upper Bellbrook Road; Oak Brooke on Little Sugarcreek Road; Woodland Ridge across the road from it; Bellasera on Swigart Road, with detached houses and patio homes; and Carpenter's Creek, estate lots on Carpenter Road. Feedwire Farm is another. Each builder publishes its own pricing.
Attached and low-maintenance. Bellasera's patio homes are the main option. Condos exist but are thin on the ground. Acreage: Carpenter's Creek and the township roads toward the river are where larger parcels show up.
