Main Street and the historic district
The district is bounded roughly by Main, East and Mill Streets and Central Avenue, Federal and Greek Revival in brick and frame, National Register since August 1999. The Jonathan Wright House (1815) is the oldest house in town and a documented Underground Railroad hiding place; it runs as the Wright House Bed and Breakfast with guided tours. At least 18 Underground Railroad stations are documented in town plus nine in Clearcreek Township, the state's first Underground Railroad historic marker went up here in October 1999, and the city offers a self-guided downtown tour. On the street: Friesinger's Candy, 70/70 Social Club, Heather's Coffee & Cafe (patio, full bar), Main Street Deli, and north on Main, Elsa's Boro Cantina and Crooked Handle Brewing. A Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area has covered Wright Station since August 2020 and was later extended down South Main, so a drink from one place can come with you along the street.
Wright Station
The corner of SR 741 and SR 73 at the edge of the district. Warped Wing Barrel Room & Smokery opened here in late August 2020. Cassano's and Heroes are here, the city-run Springboro Performing Arts Center is here, and a second Breakfast Club Cafe & Coffee Roastery is planned at Main and Central. A free summer concert series runs at Wright Station through August, inside the DORA.
La Comedia Dinner Theatre
On West Central Avenue, a professional dinner theater that opened in 1975 and marked 50 years in 2025.
North Park
On Tamarack Trail. The John H. Agenbroad Amphitheater hosts the free summer concert series June through July. Tennis and pickleball courts, soccer and lacrosse fields, a basketball court, a shelter, an outdoor fitness court, a concession stand and a trail. Touch A Truck in August, Bike the Boro in September and BoroFest are held here.
Clearcreek Park and the Clear Creek Trail
On West Lower Springboro Road: a paved trail, soccer fields, baseball and softball diamonds, fields for football and lacrosse, a shelter, concessions, and dogs are allowed. The Clear Creek Trail is a shared-use path along the creek from Lions Club Municipal Park in Franklin to Springboro's Hazel Woods Park, with a hike-and-bike bridge tying Clearcreek Park and Hazel Woods together as the last link to Franklin. The city's Central Greenway plan would connect the parks and eventually reach the Great Miami River Trail at Franklin.
Heatherwoode Golf Club
On Heatherwoode Boulevard, an 18-hole course with a grass driving range and chipping and putting greens; the Heatherwoode subdivision wraps around it.
Events with dates
Christmas in Historic Springboro takes over downtown the weekend before Thanksgiving, November 20 to 22 in 2026, with craft and food vendors. ARTFest on Main, started in 2018 by the Springboro Arts Council, runs one Saturday in late August with artists, music, food and the Dinner on Main fundraiser. The city's July 4 fireworks follow a day of activities.
